This page explains what happens to data when you read this site. It is short because the site is short: static pages, one analytics tag, and advertising that may load on some pages.

What the site itself stores

Nothing. There are no accounts, no comments, no newsletters, no forms, and no cookies set by this site's own code. There is no server-side database of readers, because there is no server-side application — the pages are static files served from a content delivery network.

Your browser may cache pages and fonts locally so they load faster. That cache is on your machine and is cleared by your browser.

Analytics

The site runs Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-CVRB9N7YB2). It records what analytics normally records: the pages you visit, roughly where in the world the request came from, what device and browser you used, and how you arrived.

It does not receive your name, your email address, or anything you type into another site. The data is aggregated into traffic reports used to decide which pages are worth maintaining.

If you do not want to be counted, a tracker blocker or the browser's own "do not track"-style controls will stop the tag from loading, and the site will work exactly the same without it.

Advertising

Some pages may carry third-party advertising served by Adsterra. Where it appears, it appears in two forms:

PlacementWhere it appearsSize
Desktop native bannerInside the article flow, on pointer devicesResponsive native unit
Mobile bannerA separate placement for small screens320×50, in a sandboxed frame

Adsterra and its demand partners may set cookies or read device identifiers to select and measure ads. That is standard for ad networks and it is outside this site's control: the site embeds the network's script and the network decides what it does with the request.

What the site does not do: it does not pass your email address, your name, or any information you have given this site to an advertiser — the site has none of that information to pass.

Ad blockers work here. If you block the ad script, the page renders normally and the ad slot collapses. Nothing is gated behind the ad, and no content is withheld if the ad fails to load.

Fonts and third-party requests

The typography on this site is self-hosted. Font files are served from this domain, not from Google Fonts, so reading a page does not send a request to a font CDN.

The only routine third-party requests are the analytics tag and, on pages where advertising is active, the ad network's script.

Guides link to Steam and, occasionally, to official announcements. Once you follow a link, the destination site's privacy policy applies, not this one.

Children

The site is a game guide and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, because it does not collect personal information at all.

Changes

If the advertising setup changes — a different network, a new placement — this page will be updated with the change. The checked date at the bottom tells you how current this text is.

What analytics does not receive

Google Analytics 4 records page views, approximate location derived from the request, device type, browser and referrer. It does not receive your name, your email, your account names on other services, or the contents of any form on this site — there are no forms.

The site does not use heatmaps, session recording, A/B testing or fingerprinting. There is no login, so there is no user ID to join across sessions, and there is no advertising ID passed from this site to anyone.

How long data is kept

Analytics retention follows the default for the property, which is measured in months rather than days. Aggregated reports — page views, referrers, countries — are what the site actually looks at, and those contain nothing that identifies a reader.

Ad-network data retention is set by the network, not by this site. Adsterra's own privacy policy governs what its cookies and identifiers do, and it is the document to read if you want the detail.

Your controls

ControlEffect here
Ad blockerBlocks the ad script; the slot collapses; content is unaffected
Tracking blockerBlocks the analytics tag; pages load normally
Browser cookie controlsClears or blocks cookies set by the ad network
Private browsingNo persistent cookies survive the session
Do Not TrackHonoured by not honouring it against you — the site adds no tracking of its own

Nothing on this site is gated behind consent, an account or an ad view. If you block everything, you lose nothing.

Third parties in one list

For clarity, the complete list of third-party services that can receive a request when you read a page: Google Analytics, and — on pages where advertising is active — Adsterra and its demand partners. Fonts are self-hosted, images are served from this domain, and there are no embedded videos, social widgets or comment systems.
