Deluxe Edition, soundtrack, artbook

Quick answer

The Deluxe Edition is $35.99 list, $30.59 during launch, and bundles the game with the $6.99 soundtrack and the $8.99 artbook. Buy it if you want both extras anyway; the artbook is the stronger of the two on its own.

There are three things to buy: the game, a soundtrack, and an artbook. The Deluxe Edition wraps all three at $35.99 list, or $30.59 during the launch window. The soundtrack is $6.99 and the artbook $8.99. Nothing else is sold, and none of it is required to finish the story.

What is in each package

PackagePrice (list / launch)ContentsWorth it if
Base game$19.99 / $17.99Five chapters, 20 hours, full voice, all achievementsYou want to play it — everything else is optional
Original Soundtrack$6.99 / −10%42 tracks from the gameYou replay scenes for the music, or work to it
Artbook$8.99 / −10%Character designs, CGs, backgrounds, animation framesYou buy artbooks for the drawings, not the text
Deluxe Edition$35.99 / $30.59Base game + soundtrack + artbookYou want both extras anyway

The bundle discount is 15%, which is the only place Steam gives you more than the flat 10% launch discount. If you were going to buy the game and one extra, the bundle is already cheaper than buying the pair separately during the sale; if you want both extras, it is not close.

The soundtrack, honestly

The store page lists 42 tracks. The developers' pre-launch announcement counts 50+ original BGM tracks in the game itself. Both numbers are real and they are counting different things: the soundtrack release is a curated album, the in-game count includes short cues, stingers and variations that do not make sense outside the scene they were written for.

So do not buy the soundtrack expecting a complete archive of every note in the game. Buy it if the idea of a two-hour album of the game's themes appeals. The music is a real part of the presentation here — the studio lists it alongside the CGs and the Live2D as one of the things the budget went into — and a mystery visual novel lives or dies on atmosphere.

One practical note: the soundtrack is a Steam DLC, which means it downloads into the game's install folder as files you can play from disk. It is not a streaming service add-on and it does not require the game to be running.

The artbook, and who it is for

The artbook is the more interesting of the two extras, because the game's art is doing narrative work. The store describes it as containing thirteen character designs, CGs, background art and hand-drawn animation frames, organised into four sections.

That structure matters. An artbook built from a game with 40 CGs and dozens of 3D backgrounds is either a thin sampler or a genuinely thick document; the four-section layout suggests the latter, with character work separated from scene work and the animation frames given their own space. For a game whose whole premise is distorted perception, the design notes on how each disorder was drawn are the thing you would actually want.

Two warnings. First, an artbook for a mystery game will spoil things — character designs for late-game versions, CG descriptions, background art from scenes you have not reached. If you are mid-playthrough, buy it and leave it closed. Second, the artbook is a PDF-style digital product, not a printed book; there is no physical edition.

The arithmetic

At launch prices:

PurchaseCost
Game only$17.99
Game + soundtrackabout $24.98
Game + artbookabout $26.98
Game + soundtrack + artbook separatelyabout $33.97
Deluxe bundle$30.59

The bundle saves roughly $3.38 over buying the pieces during the launch window, and $5.40 against list prices. If you only want the artbook, buying the bundle is $3.61 more than game-plus-artbook and gets you the soundtrack as well — which is either a good deal or a reason to stop and think, depending on whether you will ever open the OST folder.

What is not included

There is no season pass, no story DLC, no cosmetic pack, and no deluxe-only mission. The Deluxe Edition is a bundle of finished products, not a content gate. Everything in the base game — all five chapters, the full ending, every achievement — is in the $17.99 purchase.

The developers have said a Gallery Mode for replaying CGs is planned as a free update. It is not part of the Deluxe package, and it is not in the launch build.

The recommendation

Buy the base game. Add the bundle only if you have looked at the store's artbook screenshots and wanted them, because that is the purchase that either lands or does not — a soundtrack is safe background listening, but an artbook is a specific taste.

If you are buying for someone else and do not know their taste, the base game is the honest gift: the extras are for people who already finished it and want more of the same world.
